Who Is Eligible and What How Much Can They Get?
The HITECH incentives will be not always be available, and it is our goal as your EHR Partner to ensure you get all the money you qualify for without any interruption to your everyday operation.
Who is not eligible?
The following are not eligible for HITECH incentives:
  • Physical therapists
  • Pathologists, anesthesiologists
  • Hospital-based emergency physicians
  • Acupuncturists
  • Holistic medicine providers
  • Free Clinics that don’t bill Medicare or Medicaid
Who Is Eligible?
All healthcare providers including physicians and nurse practitioners who
work in:
  • Any of the 50 US states
  • The District of Columbia
  • Puerto Rico
  • The Virgin Islands
  • Guam
  • American Samoa
  • or Northern Mariana Islands qualify for the HITECH incentive.
Medicare EHR Incentive Program

Eligible professionals under the Medicare EHR Incentive Program include:

  • Doctor of medicine or osteopathy
  • Doctor of dental surgery or dental medicine
  • Doctor of podiatry
  • Doctor of optometry
  • Chiropractor
